It happened twice yesterday, one immediately after another, in the afternoon. The bald man who drives a dark red pickup truck, who lives at 94 Pearl Street does it. He does not do it daily, but he does often and at completely random times -- sometimes during the day, sometimes at night. It sounds exactly like someone firing a gun.

I also live here, but I do not know you, so you obviously do not know everyone who lives here.

Dave the school teacher, Mike the plumber, his wife Mary Lynn and their dog, and Sean with his dog all live there. You must be talking about Mike the plumber.

Honestly, you're complaining about fireworks? Aren't there more important issues and problems in good old New Haven that we should be concerned and complaining about? It's that time of the year where fireworks are going to be going off at random times. As I recall, last year ON the 4th of July, someone towards the end of Pearl was lighting off illegal fireworks, which are more of a hazard than a bottle rocket or firecracker.

I live in the house next door to 94 Pearl Street, and I can attest to startling noise that this person make with those firecrackers. It does sound like a gun being shot. This is not about July 4th fireworks or this being the season because it happens at any time of year, day or night. I've seen the guy who lives there throw them out the window to the ground below. It's a nuisance and needs to be stopped. The people across the street from me have complained, as well as the people in 86 Pearl.

That's interesting. I checked in with a couple other neighbors, including the ones across the street, They said other than the 2 bangs yesterday they have never heard anything else except for last 4th of July.
