Somebody is certainly feeding stray cats in this area. Over one year I have seen 7 different cats tearing up garbage bags. Can someone please notify residents of the area that feeding stray animals will attract worse kinds. It's a task to clean after a bag has been shredded thanks. K. Gomez

I too have noticed many stray animals wandering this area of John St. There is feces spread around the area along with the constant fighting at night. Would animal control be able to do something?

Every morning I see around six or seven stray cats as I leave my house between 3am & 3:30am. I only expect it will get worse if someone is feeding them.

I will check out the immediate area for cat feeders, however, you can contact Bergen County Animal Control (201-229-4616) to obtain a trap.
