197 Laurel Avenue Kearny, New Jersey
Than you Town of Kearny for making the owner of 197 Laurel Avenue mow their lawn. I was pleased that this was done. I want you to also address the condition of the structure. I have had many expenses to my property because this house has been neglected for such a long time. As clearly stated in our Towns maintenance code book, this structure is violated many other points as well. To be specific, the siding is not secured properly and can cause damage to my property if comes off. the structure is a horrible eyesore, with the open windows, some boarded up haphazardly. I have small children living next door, the mold spoors, animals, insects come and go. Please continue to be diligent with the owner of 197 Laurel Avenue, thank you for your time. A concerned tax paying citizen.

In the garage upstairs there is an illegal apartment the property owner rents out. Is this a legal unit?-Do they pay additional town taxes for having apartment upstairs of the garage?. Please give answers, I will do as well,They have done this for many, many years. All the honest home owners should do as well. It must be nice, getting all that extra cash.

The tree in front of this property needs to be trimmed. The branches are intertwined with the electric lines. Also, the light post is always out. There are days that the light is on but majority of the time the light is always out on this post
Fuller Place Kearny, New Jersey
I realize that the construction work on Fuller Place was completed last week for now.
They have left behind a backhoe and another vehicle along with a pile of dirt and stone.
With parking always being a issue here I hope they didn't just decide to "hide" the stuff here.
With the upcoming forecast this dirt pile will be all over an already messy street.

Town of Kearny needs to fix the main water pipe. This has been a problem for years now. It causes sewage to backup in people's basements, it causes the street to sink in where old pipes are destroyed underneath. It's a health issue when water backs up in people's driveways and starts to grow green mold. It smells and no matter how much the people snake out their pipes from their homes it doesn't help until the town removes and replaces the old cast iron pipes. Most of which have tree roots grown into them causing them to be clogged.

Please investigate ASAP while they are here:
682 Chestnut St -- Do they have permits or appropriate permits? -- it looks like A1 Chimney just put a permit on 682 Chestnut St but it is Eric Roofing who is going on the roof now.
Eric Roofing is in an unmarked pick up truck. A neighbor said they don't have permits and are prohibited from working on the roof of 682 Chestnut St since it the company and other company involved -- A1 Chimney -- was shut down 3x already by the town Fire and Building dept.
No id of the company or license on the truck -- just a phone # 908-966-9648 that matches up with Eric Roofing #. (License plate NJ J69-DGM or NJ J69 DCM). Please investigate ASAP while they are here.

every morning i walk by this house and on chestnut street side on top of the garages theres thousands of pigeons. i always see someone hang out the 3rd floor apartment and throw food to them. someone also comes out and dumps food on the side walk at the end of the garages(there a big black spot). this is getting ridiculous i shouldnt have to cross the street in fear of being attacked or pooped on by all these pigeons someone needs to investigate this issue and put a stop to it
