I've referred this to our Public Works Department. When the staff has had a chance to respond I’ll post an update. Thanks for reporting.

Per Public Works, this work should be completed by the end of September.

"should be completed by the end of September" is not a very encouraging statement. I assume that there are bigger issues in the road other than patching, resurfacing and painting? This work should not take nearly this long. There has been a lack of contractor presence on this road for too long. Please do what you can to move this up the list and get the project finished.

What is the reason for the delay? This is a heavily traveled road, especially since school has started again at Martin and Lacy.

Most of the signage indicates August 26 completion date.

Perhaps the contractor was afraid their dump trucks would be ticketed for speeding and decided to get even?? So they just pulled their workers off the project.
RPD investigated and decided there was not a problem.
