I live right next to this. I prefer these community members over the guest ball players everyday. They are loud, urinate everywhere and litter the park with trash; generally not a friendly crowd. Contrasting are the homeless who are perceived to be infringing on our privileged park. Kindness reaches out with food, water and the usual friendliness. Lets be honest, social workers have few resources to offer and it is the police who will come. The challenge is not knowing the real consequences of calling city on disenfranchised. Ive made this regretful mistake too.
