Intersection is busy and is laid out such that drivers of vehicles turning left off of 23rd Ave N on to West End Ave (toward downtown) often cannot see pedestrians in the downtown/eastern-side crosswalk until the driver is nearly in the crosswalk. Crosswalk even more dangerous at night because intersection is poorly lit.
