I reported this directly to the mayor's office last week, who in turn was going to reach out to DPW. I know they are working hard to resolve this. That said, you have every right to feel frustrated.

Maybe the mayor's office can make a t-shirt about it...that seems to work!

Wow. Seen your posts for a while now, unbelieve it is taking this long. I feel for ya...

As the neighbor who is supplying water, I hope this can be resolved soon. I'm glad to be able to help out my neighbor, but this is very frustrating for both of us.

Maybe try the fire department. If there's a frozen hydrant that may bump the priority. Kind of sad the city has left you hanging.

DPW Director advised he has spoken with homeowner. Crews have been twice to repair line and will return as needed and as their schedule enables them to.

All I wanted is someone to address the water pressure issue that has been going on for weeks, that I just discovered was due to a mismatched coupling that was used and was leaking all around it in a heavy spray running 24 hrs. a day and icing up next doors foundation and yard it was a lot of ice everywhere in fact one time they needed a hand sledge to clear the ice mound at the faucet and then put the same mismatched thread leaking coupling back on and left . I Never had an issue with the DPW response and effort they used with trying to thaw the frozen street line, they worked hard and long in terrible weather and they did do all they could.
But when it came the grossly leaking garden hose with very low water pressure temporary fix that has lasted three weeks that could have been fixed and never would have happened if they just used the proper fitting to begin with.
To me the issues won't be closed until I'm off the hose, and the pipes in the street are repaired to prevent future in street freeze ups on the Ct.
