Description
4-5 houses on Nash St (#'s19-31) share a driveway and parking spaces behind the homes. All houses I believe have the same owner. The driveway and back parking area have not been cleared making it very difficult for tenants to get in and out. There is currently a car stuck in the driveway now. I am hoping the landlords will see this posting and take care of the property asap.

Do you live in one of those properties? Are you having trouble with that snow not being cleared?
This is a forum for people to express issues they see that impact themselves or the safety of the community. Mostly it is a way to have direct channels to the city to take action on a city issue - potholes, trees, power lines, street signs, etc.
Someone not plowing their own driveway is not an issue to the community nor should it be an issue to you. Maybe it is their choice to not plow, because maybe they don't rely on their vehicle most days. Who knows, who cares, not our problem. Also, if it was a problem, they have all the proper channels at their disposal to fix it. If you came on here and said "I am 91 years old and cant get to my car for a doctors appt because my landlord hasn't plowed and wont answer his phone. Can someone help clear my snow, or drive me", then please post that and a billion people can come over to help.

NHAFF, I don't know if other responses were intended to be rude. I do know that SCF is right that an unplowed private driveway isn't where one will find a solution to this particular problem. A public sidewalk is one thing -- that *does* affect the larger community. A nice landlord does, yes, take care of plowing a driveway or other privately owned parking spaces, but he/she may or may not be obligated to do so -- my understanding is that it depends entirely on the terms stated in their lease(s) with tenant(s).
The thing to do in a situation like this is contact the landlord directly. SeeClickFix can be a useful tool in many situations, but private driveway issues are, I'm afraid, not among them.
You might want to go to www.visionappraisal.com and look up who owns the driveway space you're having trouble with, and contact them directly? (If just asking a neighbor isn't possible, etc. etc. etc.) Best of luck to you.
