Since the infrastructure improvements to that intersection, the lane lines don't match up on the side facing north. The leftmost lane ends in the middle of the actual center lane about 8-10 feet from the light. This causes many near misses, because it's unclear whether the left or middle lane can go straight there.

I didn't think to search through the open issues before I created a new one, but you're right: if Medford is unresponsive, hopefully Malden will take some action.
I have no idea how anyone could consider that line painting job acceptable...it's almost as if 2 different crews painted the lines and then didn't fix it when they failed to match.

I saw that this morning, what a relief! Seems these new line markings will prevent confusion and make for a safer intersection.
