Received a service alert from the city yesterday that said both Thurs and Fri trash pickup would happen today. Looks like none of the trash on our street has been picked up yet today.
  • 219-245 West Street Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 2
The sign that lets cars know to stay to the right as they head towards Medford street got uprooted during the storm yesterday. It's the one on the island just before Oakland St.
  • 9 Sheridan St Malden, MA 02148, USA - Malden Ward 2
The recycling truck came by, but it looks like the trash truck missed a bunch of houses on our street.

I reported this a few weeks ago (https://en.seeclickfix.com/issues/3232344-utility-cover-missing) and it was closed as fixed. The small utility hole next to the crosswalk is missing its cover. It was either never fixed or the cover came off again.

Several cars are parked on the odd side of Sheridan St near the Oakland intersection, causing the plow to leave a lot of snow out from the curb. I checked the winter parking info flyer and Sheridan St isn't listed, but West St is in the "No Parking Both Sides" section. Is this legal? If not, then they are blocking snow removal.

The utility cover is missing, right next to sidewalk. could be dangerous.

City did not clear sidewalks around Devir Park--all three sides!
  • 180 Emerald St Malden, MA 02148, USA - Malden Ward 2
There are many piles of dog poop on the Emerald St. sidewalk along Devir Park. Usually there are one or two piles, but there are a lot right now.
  • Oakland St At Sheridan St Malden, MA - Malden Ward 2
Someone abandoned a shopping cart on the island in the middle of the Oakland St-Sheridan/West St intersection.
  • 9 Sheridan St Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 2

Several houses on the odd side of Sheridan St didn't have their recycling picked up. Either we all weren't in compliance with the new rules or they forgot to do our side of the street.

Mine is still out on the sidewalk, but others have taken their bins in.

  • 381 Lawrence Road Medford, Massachusetts - Medford

Did the traffic signal pattern intentionally change at this intersection or is there some kind of a problem?

I turned right from Lawrence Rd onto 38 at around 8:00 this morning on a green light with green right turn arrow. I was surprised to see that the cars coming from Suffolk St ALSO had a green light! So, you have cars from Suffolk turning left and cars from Lawrence turning right, neither aware that the signal pattern changed. The green arrow for a right turn makes it especially confusing.

Since the infrastructure improvements to that intersection, the lane lines don't match up on the side facing north. The leftmost lane ends in the middle of the actual center lane about 8-10 feet from the light. This causes many near misses, because it's unclear whether the left or middle lane can go straight there.
