    One of worst goat head infestations I've seen is taking over the sidewalk and adjacent landscape strip immediately north of the Heights First Church of the Nazarene (south side of Holly Ave between Barstow St and the Bentura Plaza. Maybe we should rename them devil heads because of their sinister intentions. Please remove these noxious weeds before they dry out and become a hazard to pets, children, bike tires, etc. Just spraying them and leaving the plants and seeds will play right into their evil plan.

    There has been a proliferation of graffiti on the channel walls, bridges and under bridges along Piedra Lisa Channel at Algodones St. NE, Menaul Blvd. NE, Martha St. NE and Embudo Channel at Britt St. NE. Section of PLC near Martha is next to an empty and vandalized apartment building frequented by taggers and across the street from Collet Park Elementary.

Please return to the Paseo de las Montanas (Nakomis to Winrock) to address goatheads taking over the traill! please don't just spray w/Roundup, as the tire-puncturing, paw-poking seed heads remain on the trail. please remove the plants from the pavement, the near shoulders, and sweep the seeds from the trail. the goatheads are driving me and my bike off the trail and onto the road!
