For 3 months now Walmart has routed its busses to cut from Saginaw to Michigan ave using n hayford ave. the street is clearly posted "no trucks". The noise and increased traffic mainly due to the large blue and yellow walmart shuttles is unacceptable. Furthermore, I have noticed more frequently that CATA busses are also using north hayford to travel between Saginaw and Michigan ave. I'm sure there are many other routes that do not involve driving 20 ton busses through a residential area.

The Walmart shopping bus has a stop at the Foster Community Center and then goes north to Vine and back to Michigan using either Hayford or Francis before heading east to Friendship Manor. It does not appear that CATA has a route through the neighborhood. I will contact CATA about this issue. The No Trucks sign applies to through trucks. If the bus has a stop in the neighborhood and takes the most direct route into and out of the neighborhood, they would be in compliance with the ordinance.

I got curious and looked up their schedule:

So it looks like that bus should go through the neighborhood at approximately: 11:40 AM, 2:40 PM and 5:45 PM
