There seems to be a big problem in this area because of yale workers..they drive up one way streets,they park on zone streets in front of residents home...sometimes overnight. ...they throw there garbage in the streets...where are the police?where are the yale police?.instead of harassing residents they should be policing the yale workers....they are always driving reckless in this area and are always blocking driveways without receiving a ticket....come on yale!!!!!!!!

I hear and appreciate your concern. This problem DOES need to be addressed as I have seen it happen many times. I pray that no one is injured because of the careless of these drivers - but for the parking violations, you MUST call the police each and every time the cars are in violation!!!! That is the only way that these offenders will get the message But please don't generalize this to be a problem with all Yale Workers because I work for Yale and I am also a resident of the Hill ... and I don't do any of this stuff. And we have the same issues in my neighborhood but it's other residents who are the offenders ... parking in NO PARKING zones, blocking driveways, speeding, driving the wrong way, and throwing garbage on the streets. It's wrong no matter who does it, and we must treat ALL of them the same. Unfortunately we don't have enough police officers to be everywhere all the time so when we see it we must call. Good luck with your efforts to make your neighborhood safe for your children and keep up the good work ... but call the police.
