True. The noise isn't really the issue, though it's annoying. There's vibration that I can feel at my desk a couple of hundred feet away. Can't be good for old plaster and mortar. And it's been several weeks now.

I am another neighbor in this area, and I too find the vibration, the shake, from the 16th St plates unnerving. It must be killing the tires of some cars and may even cause an accident. I count the problem as more than the several weeks noted by another member of the community. Can we have the name of a contact person?

This is terrible for our building. Please let us know when the plates will be taken out or made smoother.
