The City of Lansing (Larry Connelly and one other guy with code compliance) have been notified numerous times about this residence and according to them, this resident was given two weeks to clean his junk up or they would take action. That was well over two months ago and nothing has been cleaned up and no action by the City has been taken. If anything it appears as though more trash and piles of debris and branches have accumulated. This place is an absolute disaster and is killing the property values around it plus it is bringing nuisance animals to the area.

Just wondering, can anyone answer? In the case of broken down looking cars, are they a nuisance, does it matter one way or the other if they have a current registration sticker?

The vehicles have to be inoperative or damaged. Just the fact that the tags are expired does not make it a Disabled Vehicle.

Thanks Code Compliance-LFD for clarifying about disabled, inoperative, or expired tags. In my neighborhood there are 2 home owners who constantly "stir up" situations between neighbors. They have approached me over the years to garner support for their views concerning other neighbors properties. Often the focus is on vehicles in some one's driveway. Good to know the facts, thanks. Not that I would ever use them to club a neighbor over the head with!
