This past winter I did contact the West County Times, Channel 7 and Channel 5 ....... no one seemed interested to pick up the story.

Here we go again .... Rain comes and oil slips into the Rodeo Creek. I am very @#$% off about this lack of Government Authorities allowing a private business to pollute are environment

There has been no action taken on solving the problem of this business from polluting the Rodeo Creek and San Pablo Bay.

You can thank the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office for this problem. They have somehow stopped all CC County Agencies from responding to this problem and requiring the Rodeo Auto Wreckers to comply with existing State and Federal Laws.

The Contra Costa County District Attorney's has a legal judgment against the Rodeo Auto Wreckers which provides a revenue source to CC County. However, this does not seem to increase the Inspection frequency for this site. It also does not seem to effect the offsite pollution and Inspections.

This Business is still polluting Rodeo Creek and San Pablo Bay via Rodeo Creek.
