Deskripsyon

This street floods after almost every rainfall. It would seem that it would be easy to clean out the existing drains to allow the water to drain into Hemingway Creek. We've lived in this area for about 20 years and each year it takes longer and longer for the street to dry out after flooding. Adding "Flood" signs did not help this problem. The standing water interupts traffic and makes the pot holes get worse. Please do a REAl FIX on this problem. Thanks.

Many times when I drive through this gigantic puddle I notice that the stream below is running smoothly under the bridge. This would mean that the problem is clogged drains on the street which should be a super easy fix. Maybe its clogged with all the garbage people tend to throw out their windows while driving in this fine city of ours...

This item required a second RFP because of the contaminated soil on the site. It has been awarded and we can only hope that the contractor begins work shortly.

The road is the dryest I've seen in years now (after last night's heavy rain). I guess the work that was done in the last week or so did the trick. Please keep up the routine maintainance to prevent future relapses of flooding. THANKS to all concerned.

There's a similar problem near Orchard and Edgewood that someone seems to be fixing as well.

Nice work guys for bringing these types of serious, but often neglected, issues to attention.
