Morris Cove residents who live around Dorchester (small street off Florence Ave.) please VOTE on this issue. The rats are large (Dachshund size) and as the weather gets colder they will be invading our homes. It is costly and time consuming to rid a home of rats. We need to keep the pressure on LCI to deal with this issue immediately. LCI needs to come in and clean up this mess and address the rat issue and then place a lien on the house to recover the cost. Waiting for the owner to address this issue is useless.

What is going to be done once the trash is cleaned up? The rats will move onto the surrounding properties. Then what?

Job was completed yesterday, as promised. LCI did a terrific job. Alderman promises to contact homeowner to make sure the house is winterized. Regarding rats, please vote for the fix on clogged sewer drains. This should help.
