Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, your plan to leave a tree pit, didn't get communicated to the contractor who is replacing side walk sections. They have poured new concrete where the tree was. Maybe they are planning to put a tree pit in the sidewalk after the sections are replaced? Or are they planning to put a tree pit somewhere else close by? Looking forward to a new tree. thanks, Judy.
