Description

Three young men were riding dirt bikes on Nicoll Street -- both on the street and on the sidewalk. Obviously, not such a great thing.

I saw (and heard) them on Cold Spring at Livingston. The good news is that two cop cars pursued them with lights flashing, but I didn't see what happened after they turned right on Everit toward East Rock. Hopefully they will pull them over and impound the bikes!

I noted wryly that the riders were wearing helmets, which is good, but... y'know, it's still just wrong. Thanks for your comment, NWB. I tried to phone the non-emergency city police # but it was busy busy busy and then I got busy busy busy so wasn't able to follow up effectively (I tried to do good anyhow by posting here)...
