This issue has come up many times in ClicknFix and in Whitneyville Civic Association meetings. Something definitely needs to be done about this.
My suggestion in another posting here is to put a traffic circle in the intersection of Treadwell and Clifford Streets to slow cars down. There should also probably be some traffic calming measures, speed bumps, and curb bump outs.

Hi, business man, I'm not sure exactly what the Whitneyville Civic Association has to do with it. I merely mentioned that "working" members of the community have come specifically to their meetings to complain about this particular problem, with hopes that their complaints will finally be heard. I'm not sure why this would make you angry.
As far as things going faster and easier for all, a Civic Association is exactly the sort of thing you need in order to push things to go "faster and easier", since individuals can't always accomplish things as effectively as groups, particularly with slow, burdened political processes.
