Agreed. This situation is very dangerous as it is now. If all three lanes are occupied driving north on Whitney, it is extremely difficult for the car turning left and the car in the left through lane to avoid hitting each other. At various times, I have been the car turning and the car going straight, and it is very difficult to negotiate in either position.

Agreed, I avoid it at all costs, but sometimes can't, and it's terrifying! I am sure there mst be accidents here. It's a bad combination of people coming off 91, aggressive typical New Haven drivers and confused out-of-town ers. Lethal!
