Yes! Yes! The more public art in this town the better. There are so many opportunities for murals and now that the new bridge will be the focal point of the city, the ugly industrial rot that surrounds this vision could be spruced up with beautiful murals. The abandoned warehouse spaces could be utilized for these large scale art projects. Seems like a win, win, win situation for everyone.
I know there is also interest in painting a mural on the run down wall on the side of the Footlocker building on Chapel Street. Perhaps there can be a coordinated effort to raise any necessary funds / have contests for mural ideas / etc.
