Lost kitten...this kitten belongs to Rich, the barn sale guy near the Grand Ave bridge. Answers to Beebs. If found please return to Rich. This kitten was literally thrown to the side of the road in a bag with another kitten and their mom. Rich re▶Archived
Rich is offering a $200 reward for the safe return of his little angel. This kitten means a lot to him and I can't stress that enough. If you know anything about the whereabouts of Beebs please leave an anonymous message here. Rich is one of the most generous, honest and compassionate neighbors in this area. This loss is devastating to him. This guy asks for nothing outta life but gives back so much. Please keep your eyes opened.
The kitten has been returned. Thank you all for your help and to the group of children that witnessed the woman that stole the cat. Thank you for helping out another neighbor in need.
So since the children (bless their hearts) identified the perpetrator of this unspeakable act of meanness, can she be prosecuted for animal cruelty? She deserves it. I'm also a cat guardian (our charming big Fergie & little Bella) and I'd be heartbroken if anyone did this to them.
Yes~ stealing pets is punishable by law as domestic animals are considered personal property. however, the greater crime is in the callous discarding of a mother and kittens in a bag. That deserves jail time and intensive rehabilitation. Its also a symptom of our over arching societal ills.... our disposable culture, disregard for environment and each other, and general ignorance. What to do? What to do?
