Any progress on this?

Somebody has to do something about this house. Please, we are desperate. It's a constant issue on the street, cars racing at all hours, including after 9, 10, 11pm. Drug dealing in plain view. Violent fights, sometimes involving women. Destroying property. Their children witnessing all this.
WHY ISN"T ANYONE COMING AND DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT????!!! Police rarely comes here.

Lt Hoffman may have had it under control by now, unfortunately the new guy from Chicago sent him on his way to a more "important" division. Hello new guy, who are you? Do you care? Is the East Shore district that strapped that you cant patrol one of the busiest streets in your district?

Still no progress. AT ALL!

I call police. guy rasing on street with girl an baby in car. no police no come.

Heck, some guys robbed a gas station in east rock the other day and were chased by cops in a car until they crashed and ran on foot through peoples yards. a homeowner calls the police to tell them of people hiding in his yard near the scene of the crime and it took the cops 2 hours to get there.

Its almost as if calling the police is a joke in New Haven.

I heard about that shooting after the police came to pick up a bullet that landed in my backyard way down on Quinnipiac Ave several blocks North.

Hi Jay...Please call 203-946-7163 the Woodward avenue substation so that Sgt.Anastasio can tell you how many times we have arrested Juan and Angel and the Martinez boy across the street and the new boy Leron from 110 Lenox st...also the many dirtbikes we have caught and seized from these boys....Your frustration should be targeted at 121 Elm street and the court system..and they will say that the Quality of Life nuisances are not serious enough crimes to keep these boys in jail..also the judge cant evict these boys from the neighborhood so there is no where else to go but back to Lexington street...its a revolving door which frustrates not only the neighborhood but the Police as well.

Lets not forget the good son Rafael who I believe is in jail as of last week for a one year sentence which will probably be reduced to a month or two. The one thing that needs to be recognized is that some innocent kid is going to get killed on Lexington(or any other street) someday because of these delinquent ADULTS and their need to angrily race up and down Lexington with no fear of police presence because there is none. Blame can go all around, I could blame the cop who sits in the quiet parking lot down the hill writing up his reports instead of sitting out in the open calming traffic in a residential area. We could all blame their parents or the state that supports them to live and not work..... and yeah, the court system too.
