  That's what I been saying a the block meetings. Why can not the City designate empty lots for these encampments so that they don't cause so much misery among residential neighborhoods and public parks? Provide these empty lots with dumpsters, running water, and port-a-potty.

  Find a friend or family member who would host them in their home or yard. It might work if the city subsidized the family/friends and offered social worker support

  Nobody should be designating lots or subsidizing these people. These people made the choice to be homeless. None of us should have to take on their burden because of their poor choices. They should be ejected from the city. If they want to camp they can camp like real campers in the forest. We should not tolerate these people in our cities
