  Are they allowed to flop anywhere, anytime? I pay high taxes to be able to use these facilities but can't because of a new resident who is not paying taxes...this is not working out. People do have a right to live where they can afford to live, not always where they want to live. There are too many jobs, good paying jobs if some would just make the sacrifice for themselves....

  Brown, I can not disagree with you. What they are doing is to trash an area so that no one else wants to go there. Then that place gets over run and becomes theirs. Without a policy, all public parks are in jeopardy because the police can not enforce without a mandate.

  So they also have the right to ruin our facilities of which we are paying very high taxes for, and that's okay? No, it isn't. It's very expensive to stay here so if you can't afford it, then you have to move where you can live like we humans live...with a roof over our heads, a toliet, a shower, a bed, etc. If you can't afford the bare necessities, then you can't afford to live here it's as simple as that..

  Having the same issue and problem on other side on lake merrit bart station. At Madison park. Drugs user shooting in middle of street. Drugs syringe needles found in parks and under freeway. Vandalism, graffiti, stealing power and water from utilities boxes. Trashing, street blockage, squatting feces. Fire in three locations already...Etc. Etc. Etc. All over Oakland there is a homeless camp. Homeless Camps is in front of our finest police station. Look all over this app map.

  When none of the laws/rules aren't being enforced by our Police department, the problem folks soon feel they have the right to do what they want so then the police are now over whelmed and can't do anything. I am embarrassed to invite friends or family to visit...look who's in control and who is callin' the shots..this is all backwards..all wrong and here in lyes the bigger problem. If someone drives by, shooting, you can't even give identification because of the deeply tinted windows. In fact, we don't even know if someone has guns drawn...no one can see in. There is also a law against that but isn't being enforced..Oakland is my home, born here, went to school here but I couldn't raise my children here..this is really sad and it makes me angry.

  Our city is drowning with trouble. Citizens tax dollars is not working. Some of them are using drugs with our tax dollars. San Francisco exchange needle program is feeding their addiction. Home depot on High St. is where there thieving supplies.
