That crossing is awful! Hopefully the city will make the request. I made the same complaint about a year ago and the city told me to call the railroad.
The city didn’t offer a contact phone number, which would have been a nice service. My call fell on deaf ears I guess. I hope you have better luck.

There is also a 800# on the sign at the crossing: 1-800-946-4744
They will ask for a "crossing number". It is 731804G.

I tried to call once and they asked for a crossing number. I didn't know it at the time but went back and took a picture of the sign on the poll. I forgot to call after that (I moved out of state).
