This is report from the Lincoln-Bradley Neighborhood Association on the condition of our two streets:
Lincoln (two blocks from Trumbull to Pearl) has waist deep snow with a number of automobiles parked on the east side buried in the drifted snow. Sidewalks have been cleared by the residents.
Bradley (two blocks from Orange to Whitney) has one lane "top-plowed" to knee depth and is ready for normal plowing.

Pearl Street west of Orange Street remains un-plowed. It has 2 parts, one from Orange to Lincoln and 1 about 100 feet west of Lincoln includes the driveway for 60 Lincoln. We have a 98 year old woman staying during the storm at 60 Lincoln and would appreciate plowing in case of emergency need. From Douglas Rae & Ellen Shuman

Lincoln Street between Pearl and Trumbull at the least needs to be plowed. I am a physician and need to get to my clinic. I have patients booked all week and cannot keep canceling. I have already canceled Monday's clinic! Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Thank you. Lincoln, Bradley and Pearl are acknowledged and reported to the EOC. DPW has plowing crews in every section of the City. If your street remains unplowed by noon on Tuesday February 12, 2013 please call (203) 946-8221.

As I am considered essential personnel by the University, a physician, it is important to be able to get out of Lincoln Street. Please plow as soon as possible

Susan, there are essential employees on every street in East Rock, and elderly residents who need ambulances, too. You may need to walk to work or have someone pick you up on Orange street.

Also an essential employee at the hospital, an RN, and I walked to work. Can't even get out of Mansfield by car or bike, so I think we just have to make due until streets can get cleared..

We all were gratified tp be awakened by the plow last night and to see the pavement when we arose this morning. It's been a difficult time for city services in this unprecedented emergency. I believe that the city managed in a very organized and effective way. For the entire Lincoln-Bradley Neighborhood, I wish to congratulate and thank the DOT and the EOC.
