The "smoke" you see is just polyethylene glycol which is commonly used in asthma inhalers to carry the medicine into your lungs. I don't think you need to worry about that causing respiratory issues.

98% of the nicotine is absorbed by the person using the e-cigarette, so even if you were sucking the air straight out of their lungs you wouldn't get enough nicotine to have an effect on you.

You'd probably get more exposure to toxic compounds if they had smoked a real cigarette just before getting onto the bus.

I think ecigs should be covered under the no eating and drinking on city buses rule. But good luck in getting the drivers to do anything.

What next? Water pipes? e-cigarrettes are just that. They create indoor pollution on buses. Please extend the smoking ban to include them.

There's no food or drink (toxic or otherwise) allowed on buses.

E ciggs just emit a water vapour, relax, youre safe! Besides theres no eating or drinking allowed, theres no rule for sucking in steam.
