They are dollar buses that operate along flatbush avenue. I live in the area as well and these things should NOT be parked on residential streets. They are commercial vehicles. I won't even park my car down there because I've seen how these guys drive, almost hitting vehicles.
They are parked there every night, most of the time in the fire hydrant space. Lately, I've seen school buses, a lot of them parked all over. What ever happened to NO commercial vehicles parked on residental streets? There are too many of them to go around getting license plate numbers to report. Why cant the traffic people go there at night and get these vehicles OFF of our residential streets?
As per Neighborhood Coordination Officer assigned to the area, the owner of the bus attached a legal set of plates. He also has been summonsed for not having a legal license plates on display before.

Up close the plate says "not for official use" which means its a souvenir that someone bought.
