Issue should be addressed promptly,especially with CHS homecoming being this wknd.

A work order has been placed with the DPW to do the brooming and sweeping as soon as possible.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are well aware of the homecoming this weekend and will do our best to make sure things are pristine! On the other hand, all teams that use this fabulous football field need to pitch in and clean up after games being played! If we all do our part and clean up, the park will look great for years to come.

back to the issue, since this was sent to me.

1)The field can not be swept, at least with a vacuum, the pellets would be sucked up into the Vacuum. (That I know of)

2)looks like to me, the stuff on the field (mouth Guards etc), is the type of debris that one would find after a football or soccer game.. or practice.

3) Might not even be Clawson Players, we do have visiting teams.

4) having said this, we should not condone this. (of course)

5) wed. night, last team-s I saw on the field, were the Maverick's at least 4 groups, I say 4 cause one was in white, scrimmage? (what ever) where I am going, is they were the last group on the field, the coaches had to of seen it. and DPW was going to clean it today.

6) I would think using the "Caste" system, the Mavericks, with all their numbers, could spread out and do a field sweep. upon leaving after practice. (I am thinking practice ends at the furthest point from the Parents., as the kids leave towards their parents, the field is cleaned, by the wannabe's that are Going from a Maverick to a Trojan)

7) Most varsity teams, have a run through practice the day after a game, they could do a sweep while doing drills (?)

8) The A D / coaches are teachers for the most part, stuff runs down hill, smile
it was the coaches ? who wanted just had to have a new field, new B B field, where are they?

9) Seems a shame we have to use heavy bread, (just my humor term) to clean the fields, the younger school age students are so much cheaper .

10) I am just brainstorming, throwing out STUFF, that was done at other schools etc. I am getting the feeling, we are afraid to ask the kids to help out.

11P S) there are a few other activities on that field, being adults a have seen adult like treatment to the field, but keep in mind, there are others. who9 do use it. also not sure what turf litter means. bottle caps would not be fun to fall on., answering the original post
