While taking my granddaughter to the park to play I saw two orange city trucks and workers mowing the grass. However, they neglected to address the weeds, tall weeds, in the parking lot islands. I tried to get the attention of one of the workers but he was wearing earmuffs and just smiled and drove off. The park was just updated less than two years ago and is already falling into major disrepair. Who is in charge of the parks in the city and do they ever leave city hall? Thank you, concerned taxpayer.

Responding to the generic statement on Clawson's web site regarding Raccoons, Woodchucks, Skunks, Opossums as follows:

The Division will respond to raccoons, bats or skunks inside the living quarters. Oakland County will not respond to nuisance wildlife nesting in attics or crawl spaces.

What about live trapped animals? Ask my neighbor, Councilman Airriess. He has had them running through his yard. I'm certain he is glad they are gone. This year I've live trapped and relocated 3 Raccoons, 9 Opossums, 8 Woodchucks (that can and will destroy the foundation of a house in a few days), and FERAL CATS in the past. I've trapped two "wild cats" that were living on what wildlife they could catch. I took them to the Humane Society on Auburn Road near Adams and had to pay $25 each to get rid of a scumbag neighbor's problem. They were unadoptable because of their wildness. I've laid it all out for you but I'd like to see some responsibility being taken by the City of Clawson for their disposal. How about some reimbursement for mileage at $0.54 per mile for taking the others to South Blvd and Crooks for humane release? Or $50 for the cats? Or should I just relocate them to north Clawson?

I bought my house in 2012. Then, the street was fine when it rained. In 2013 I believe, the City ripped up our street to replace the sewer lines. Ever since then, when it rains heavy, our street floods. I have sent several pictures to the City of Clawson years ago. My poor neighbor across the street from me, always comes in the middle of the storms to brush the drain clean so our the water does not creep up on to our lawns. You can see the road dip down where the flooding happens - I mean - they REPAIRED our street completely, new cement, everything. So, not sure why its worse then before they "fixed" it. What are my city tax dollars going towards? New sewer lines, new street pavement - yet, it floods?

Every time it rains, the our drains are slow!

We suspected we had a clog inside drain pipes or our lateral sewer line that connects house to the city owned main sewer.

We hired a plumber who pushed his cleaning tool and then inspected our line with camera. He told us that there is nothing he can do because our pipe is full of water. He is sure that we do not have a clogged sewer line. The reason for slow drain is blockage inside city's main sewer. The drain is not clogged it is just full of water.

Last week it was raining a lot especially on Thursday. When I was driving to work, I noticed that the area around sewer cover on Goodale Ct (right at Roth Blvd) is flooded. Later when I came back, I saw the debris like tree chips around that area.

I asked a neighbor if she also has slow toilet or drain and she confirmed that she does.

It is Saturday, it is not raining but the sewer and drain are so slow. I flushed toilet 2 times and it took 15 minutes for water to completely drain.

If slow drain in this area is caused by main sewer that is up to the capacity or perhaps clogged with debris, would city clean the blockage inside the city main sewer?

The sidewalk in front of residence, 237 Council Ave: water pools up here when it rains; in the winter it freezes and is a hazard. [Photo attached was taken on 01/12/2017].

There is a large dog at this location that barks continuously when outside. The barking can last up to two hours.
It's is very disturbing for the neighbors especially when it occurs at 7:30 am on Saturday when most people try to get some sleep.

Very loud motorcycles are driving from this location day and night. This is becoming a significant noise disturbance for the neighbors. I hope the city can help improve this unfortunate situation.

The employees from NAPA auto parts are using east baker as a thru street every single day, all day long. We have enough speeding traffic on this street everyday and we also have a lot of children who play on this street. I believe Napa auto should be told to only use main roads! Thank you.
