Today, the Parks Department chained and locked both gates on the Pardee Seawall. Residents of the neighborhood use these steps to launch Kayaks, Stand Up Paddle boards, swim with dogs and enjoy the beauty of Morris Cove. WHY do they need to be locked? Of all the problems we have with the park, like people leaving fish hooks and knives on the ground as well as late night drug use... access to the Sound is the least of the issues
