Description
Overgrown weeds and blight on the corner turn of Dreon and Stephen. The corner is City of Clawson property but resident has attempted to dress it up with some kind of weed, plants, and red woodchips. Corner is never maintained by resident. It just grows freely throughout the year. The corner easement property is a constant eyesore for neighbors and has been overgrown all summer long. Weeds cause a blind corner for motor vehicles, pedestrians, and walkers/joggers/bikers. Can the city dig up weeds, torch them, spray round up on the corner, or till this corner? Can you please just plant regular grass on this area? Heck, I would even prefer the Lacaria concrete guys to lay their cheap grass seed on this corner rather than experiencing what is there now. City needs to take care of this. This is the 3rd time this issue has been presented this year!

Again, The concept, of putting a Hit list together, is for the assigned entity to take care of ASAP, not to lay blame, but to bring attention, when it is there for the second and more repeats, City Gov't is not doing it's job.
That doesnt mean erase it from this list, (till the issue has actually been taken care of, not just acknowledge.) 3 times reported is a good example, of failure.
I see, code enforcer , is assigned, quite a few tasks on the list. knowing full well, she has no means in which to fix issues, if a city issue? and she works for the city, Now what?

I hear you loud and clear. In the past several years I have busted DPW workers lying to Troy police sent to my street after A TANTRUM THROWING DPW WORKER INTENTIONALLY PLOWED two giant boulders of snow into my driveway. Yes, I received personal apologies from the Mayor, the City Manager, and Chief Anderson...but in the end it was ME who had to re-shovel my already cleared driveway.
A month ago I busted my Postal Carrier in a lie. Yes, I received an apology from the Postmaster after he confirmed the lie but my package was a day late even though she said she tried to deliver. I've submitted two written complaints to the Postmaster and when I walk into the Post Office with a typed letter in my hand, sadly the crew working the counter knows exactly who I am there to complain about. SO SAD for the "LITTLE CITY THAT CARES".
Last summer I had the DPW Manager inspect the new driveway approach that was poured after they removed mine to lay new water mains. I pointed out that I HAD expansion strips between the remaining driveway and the approach that was removed. I asked; "Shouldn't new expansion strips have been installed when the new approach was poured?" He said; "Yes, that is code but the company has gone out of business and there is nothing I can do about it. WHAT KIND OF AN ANSWER IS THAT? WHO WAS PAID TO INSPECT THIS WORK? WHO APPROVED THE SHODDY WORK?
Now, we are dealing with, (I suspect) a less than honest Code Enforcement officer. What I am saying is just because they (GOVERNMENT) tries to tower over the residents with their authority, that does not make them honest. THE EXCEPTIONS ARE Mayor Luebs and Chief Anderson. I have the ultimate respect for both.

As far as the concrete bus. going out of Business............. 3/4 of a couple of streets those bros. did, we have what is called Spalding, looks like steel marbles dropped from above, and formed dimples....... when they expand, they crack in small patches like..... first they said it was a bad batch?? O Kaay, that takes care of one side of the street, what about the other side that was poured 9 days later? or the aprons and sidewalks, even later....... yes when that bunch of brothers, heard they went belly up, doing road building in Tex. I heard..... diff name
