If there are complaints for misuse of visitor permits or misuse of guest permits, please let our department know where to look. If you find folks are violating the residential permits, post here and we will come out and document. Visitor permits are not allowed for more than 10 days of use in a year. We will document, and on the 11th day we find the person using a visitor permit we will issue a $100 ticket each day thereafter. Thank you for reporting.

Violators park on Winchester Avenue (between Sachem and Webster) every weekday and not weekend. They have "visitor tags" but clearly park and walk to work at construction site, Yale University or and/or Yale Health.

I believe that the parking department is asking us residents to identify these cars misusing the tags so they can follow up. We need to continue to snap a picture of the car with the plate, and also a picture showing the parking tag number. I know that they have ticketed some of these repeat offenders. With any luck, once the new season's tags are out there will be less cheating if people know they are getting fined.
