New Haven is a lawless city. Trust me, the police could not care less. They want to finish their 8 hours and go home. The mayor is the same way. It's politically incorrect to harass people begging, vendors popping up anywhere they'd like, and of course the dirtbikes that we all know and love.

Try calling the police district manager and alderperson.

Notify your alderman and call NHPD immediately...of course I'm being sarcastic because that's the automatic response on SCF.

During lunch hour, today and Friday, one of the "regulars" (tall, thin, today wearing a bright orange tee) was standing outside of Rite Aid asking for money. He also peers through the window at the cash registers to see who is getting cash & change versus using credit cards so he can accost them when they come outside -- knowing they have cash on them...
