The garbage bin at the Temple St. entrance of Temple Plaza is overflowing. Suggest it's emptied ASAP due to bar crawl going by there today and parade day tomorrow

Dead seagull on New Haven Green - between the port-o-potties and the picnic table with chess boards. With a wider photo you would see that there is also a good amount of trash strewn about. Terrible to see a dead bird - hopefully not cruelly killed, but also a shame to see so much trash when there are trash pails all around.

Panhandler in red jacket going up to cars that are parking - to the drivers side window and asking for money. He's one of the regulars downtown and often seems drunk shuffling around on the sidewalks.

It looks like the strong winds have ripped the American flag on the flagpole on the New Haven Town Green

There still remains little or no lighting on the block of Church between Crown and Chapel - on the Rite Aid side of the street. Several street lamps (the nice green decorative style ones) have poles with no lamps on top -- and the remaining ones are extremely dim. Last night there were a couple of shady characters standing in empty storefront doorways asking for money, combined with the darkness, it was rather intimidating. With the college and all the new development downtown it should be fixed... it's largely the gateway to downtown and should be nicely lit for safety and aesthetic appeal. I believe there is additional lighting that is burnt out under the overhang of the 900 chapel building that should be repaired as well. There are several areas along that block where someone can be grabbed and mugged.. let's fix it before that happens!

Overflowing garbage and overflowing recycling bin filled with bottles, in front of the building to the left of BAR pizza and to the right of the new construction project. Noticed on Saturday when walking by, terrible stench. Full bin and garbage still there today. Garbage and broken glass on ground.

Two aggressive panhandlers on the corner of Chapel and Temple Streets by the Subway. Asking -- and then following - people down the street asking for money. On a day with so many out of towners here for Yale graduation it's a shame to see them harrassed in this manner... It's one thing to ask... it's another thing to follow. I tried calling the non-emergency police number to report but they never picked up... just the recording saying that they were busier than usual...
