Description
At the corner of Thompson and Welsh, there is an issue with a blind spot. There is a stop sign on Welsh with the through traffic on Thompson but you can't see if cars or coming or not, without pulling halfway up into the intersection.
There is a large bush on the corner of Welsh and Thompson and vehicles are parking right up to the intersection on Thompson so you just can't safely see if there are any vehicles (or bikes) coming. I don't think this is a parking violation but I do think it's a safety issue for the people who live in this area. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the response but I respectfully request that this case remain open so you can report back to us . “Traffic Engineering will discuss the situation with the Traffic Management Team, which includes Fire and PD to determine if there is an option for addressing this situation.”
This is a matter of public safety and anyone who comes through that intersection is at risk at being hit by a car because the driver can't see any through traffic.
I am sure the option is simple....trim the bush back on the corner and put a "No Parking Within 30' of curb" sign (or however it would need to be worded). This really can be easily remedied, I would think.
