Caller reporting tall weeds and grass. The yard hasn't been mowed since tenants moved in back in August. It is making the neighborhood look bad.

Please know weeds must be at least 12 inches tall and cover the majority of the yard before action can be taken. A seven-day notice is given to property owners to correct the issue. In some cases, it can take up to 30 days before the City can take legal action against those in violation. We will post updates here as they become available.

Please know parking in the grass is prohibited, however, the Code Officer has to observe the violation in order to address it. The surface where vehicles are parked must be free and clear of vegetation and at least half of the vehicle must be parked on an unapproved surface. Caller reported that Red-tipped Photinia bushes are interfering line-of-sight at this intersection.
The HOA will be removing all of these Photinias in the next six months.
4 tenants have started to angle across the driveway and park their front wheels in the grass.

The Code Officer reported that after looking at the pictures and making a site visit, it has been determined that the vehicles are not parked more than halfway into the yard which is not sufficient enough for prosecution.
Email reported that fence is in disrepair and needs to be fixed or replaced.
The Code Officer reported that the fence does not meet the standards of disrepair according to the international property maintenance code. If the fence violates HOA rules, it is up to the HOA to enforce them. Closed from a Code Enforcement standpoint.
