Why do you allow your SMALL children to play IN the street to begin with?

Children (and adults) should only be on street pavement when crossing in a designated crosswalk, getting in and out of autos or riding in designated walk or bike paths. Please don't encourage children to play in the street. That's not what streets are improved for.

As a child, I used to play in the street all the time when my parents were present. It connects the community. In fact, last week our street play ended up getting 5 of our neighbors (of all ages) outside to talk, connect and play.

The City Traffic Engineer reached out to the property owner of 529 7th St. This property owner has never called the City or posted anything on SeeClickFix regarding a stop sign request for this intersection. If this is a legitimate request, please contact the Engineering Division at 636-949-3237 so we may gather additional information to process this request. We appreciate your help in improving our City!
