Description

The white stanchions that divide the merging school traffic from the fast-moving west-bound traffic on Old Hwy 431 were removed when the road was being resurfaced several weeks ago but have never been reinstalled! They are crucial to keep merging school traffic from being run off the road as they enter Old Hwy 431 at a slower pace. The stanchions are lying in the grass right next to the road. Please reinstall! Thank you! (Picture shows stanchions in grass, sorry for poor quality)

Speed limit should be lowered from 55 MPH to 45 MPH. Given the traffic congestion and number of intetsecting roads, it is irresponsible that traffic engineers have left the limit so high.

Agreed with the comment about reducing speed. Westbound traffic often cuts into the school merge lane early because they plan to turn into the Chick-Fil-A or at the light at Hwy 431...they are driving so fast, and to make matters worse, there aren't even any white lines indicating it's a merge lane...those stanchions are a much needed visual aid to protect the merging school traffic.

Should replace the stanchions previously mentioned and also a second set from the next entrance toward 431 (exiting the chic fil a area). Lots of drivers either get over early or are leaving the school and won't let others get over to turn on to 431 north.

The other two comments requesting additional upright lane dividers in another section of the roadway and speed limit lowering will be addressed after consideration by Traffic Engineers.
