This is a beautiful area. The resident keeps it like that for her bees. I'm sure you can walk by just fine, or use the sidewalk on the other side of the street.

Not everyone can "walk by just fine." Some cannot even walk, and they shouldn't need to cross the street just to make their way down a public sidewalk.

There is a legal process that MUST be followed. The property owner gets notification with a comply date. If not complied by the date given then the city has the right to do the work to clear the sidewalk. The owner would be billed fore the cost of such work. They are entitled to due process the same as you would want due process.

Leave this woman alone. The sidewalk is fine and beautiful. This is a waste of city resources.

Bees or No bees, its encroaching on City Property, accessibility laws must be followed.

Spoke with the owner. She is working on clearing this. The Berry street side is clear and she is working to clear the lakeview side but may not be completed until next week.

Actually, the Berry St side is not clear. Vegetation from this house is blocking over half of the sidewalk on Berry Street and completely blocking the sidewalk on the Lakeview Ter side. When is the deadline for when the City will step in and fix this?

Most of this has been cut back and the sidewalk is passable. There is a small section at the west side yet to be trimmed.
