Description
Last night I saw the trashmen throwing bags of trash into the street, where some odd the bags would burst open and scatter trash. Those of us in the neighborhood like to pick up trash to keep our city clean. If the trashmen keep doing their job horribly it means we have to work harder to keep our neighborhood clean. I pay my taxes. I have a choice in where I live. If Jersey City employees choose to make my city ugly, I'll take my tax dollars and move to a cleaner place. See how that works? I want JC to be great. So, here's my request: instruct the trash collectors to do their jobs efficiently and politely, without screaming and shouting to one another and stop polluting the streets

Couldn't agree more. We see this type of thing going on in the same area on Jewett between Bergen & Kennedy.
Sadly the mornings after trash days are often the dirtiest because the trash collectors are careless. They often don't pickup all the trash that's there, they throw cans all over the place, and of course they let way too much of the trash they're tasked with throwing out make it onto streets and sidewalks.
I see Victor at sanitation was assigned to this matter.
Victor, what measures are being taken to ensure your team more cleanly handles trash on its routes?
