Thought I read that by last November, the city would have GPS on its buses so that we can see where they are (like Uber). Has that happened? If so, where can I find the app and, if not, will it happen and when? Thanks!

Real-time bus information for CTtransit’s New Haven Division is now available.
Real-time information for vehicle locations and arrival/departure predictions is made available for free through data feeds that developers can use to create applications for CTtransit’s New Haven customers. For all routes in the New Haven area, this real-time information is currently available on “Transit ,” a comprehensive transit application available for iOS and Android devices. When using “Transit ,” riders can swipe left or right on each route to show different directions of travel. The information will go live for Google and Apple Maps and other consumers of the free CTtransit data feed as developers incorporate the data.
