The sidewalks are terrible all the way around Norton, on Moreland and Winthrop as well in this neighborhood. It would be great if the city fixed it.

It's atrocious all over the city. Just yesterday I encountered an old, frail man whom I know from the neighborhood, pushing his shopping cart from the corner of Whalley and Norton up Norton to his apartment (the brick buildings on the right). He was having a terrible time of it but I was unable to assist him because I have just gotten out of surgery and am unable to handle heavy things. We passed a pack of youths who saw this man struggling but they never cared at all, they laughed right on past him. I told the man to call the City and complain, but he said "It won't make a difference." (He's speaking from personal experience.) Then we discussed how perfect the Yale sidewalks always are.
