I don't pay thousands of dollars in taxes yearly to be subjected to filth. This disgusting music is vulgar (p****y, d***k) and racist against whites. Please send an officer to the location. Noise violations such as this one are NOT OK.

Woman on Ellsworth Avenue was fined for keeping her trash toters out for 3 days after trash pickup, but her husband brings toters in every Monday night. This is from the neighborhood website Next Door:

"I was wondering if anyone else on Ellsworth Ave received a citation for supposedly leaving their garbage bins out. We received a citation claiming we had left our out for 3 days, which I can say for sure is not the case. My husband brings them back every monday after work. When we contacted the office they claimed that 21 other home owners on our street received the same citation. I find it hard to believe that 21 home owners would happen to leave their bins out for the same 3 days at the same time. Just curious, and yes we are contesting this. "

The flyer is ridiculous - we're not supposed to put our toters out before trash pickup? Huh? Then how would the trash be collected, if it's not at the curb the night before? Do you expect us to wake at 4am and stand beside the toters waiting for the garbage trucks??

All morning long. It's certainly not the first time, what is going on?
  • 245-263 Norton Street New Haven, Connecticut - Beaver Hills
On Norton between Wells Fargo and the old NHPD substation. Please remove immediately, this is very dangerous.

I have - yet again - been forced to cancel doctor appointments because it is too dangerous to even get to the bus stops without facing injury or even death by concussion from slipping on icy mounds of snow at curbs or the ice ponds created from freezing/thawing. Your walkable/bikeable/busable bs has FAILED MISERABLY, not only because no one wants it, but because the City of New Haven cannot get its act together for a real citywide effort at making it SAFE to get to the bus stops in the winter. There aren't enough grants available to keep that money flowing your way to make it a success. So instead, you tax decent, hardworking homeowners to death, forcing us all out of the city. What will you be left with? Refugees and illegals. Oh, and Yale. You'll always have Yale, whose students are repelled by The American Homeless. Have fun in your Next City!

As evidenced by the signs homeowners have been forced to post on our own properties, there is a problem with gross people in the neighborhood walking their dogs and leaving piles of dog poop on our front lawns. So we have posted signs telling these fools to clean up after their pets or face fines. What have the dog owners done in response? Do we see them with plastic baggies in hand, picking up after their dogs? NO! They take the dogs around the corner and let them poop AT THE BUS STOP on Norton and Goffe, so that when we stand there waiting for the bus, we step in dog poop! As if the buses aren't filthy enough, now we're tracking dog poop everywhere because of negligent, lazy dog owners.

Please install "CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET...or face fines" signs at grassy bus stops, as well as on all lawned public spaces (such the Green, parks, etc.).

PS - Even those who do pick up after their dogs exhibit inexcusably rude behaviors; I have seen one woman in particular walk her dog on my block (on which she does not reside) and place the poopy bag in someone else's garbage!

I am now considering this harassment in retalliation for previous reporting of unacceptable snow plowing practices, as well as for my political beliefs. I will contact my attorney on Monday.
  • 864 Whalley Ave New Haven, Connecticut - Westville
This bus stop is on Whalley, near the Westville Dunkin Donuts, and while DD has 2 trash receptacles on the property, it is apparently too much for some people to walk from the bus stop to throw their trash into these receptacles. (I would also assume that the DD receptacles are meant for DD trash only, but that's another issue.) The bus shelter and street at this location is littered with trash because there is no city receptacle. Please add a city trash receptacle next to this bus stop.

Tree is growing slanted, its canopy growing into the tree next to it. Can this tree be re-set in order to save it? (Address is approximated. This is diagonally across from Ernie's and one house over from the Diamond Exchange.)

Hilarious, SCF blocked the content of my last report about the precious dirtbikers, who are apparently now being protected?? Fascinating how I am censored on this site.
  • 391-397 Whalley Ave New Haven, CT 06511, USA - Beaver Hills
Bus shelter in front of Wells Fargo. Flyers have been stuck in between panes of fiberglass, and someone with territory issues spray painted graffiti. Sitting on the bench in the shelter, one cannot see out of the window for the approaching bus. Please remove the flyers and graffiti and seal the gap so this issue does not persist.

I've reported this issue before but it has never been fixed. Flooding issue at bus stop In front of Wells Fargo. When crossing the street, one cannot step onto curb because of large puddles; we have to walk in the road around the corner to find an appropriate spot. As I have reported previously, this is a major issue in the winter when these puddles of water freeze into giant ice patches.

NTOR sign at Norton and Whalley (facing Wells Fargo, Citizens to your right). I reported this issue previously, during the winter of 2014-2015, when the sign came down. The TRAFFIC department has ignored the issue repeatedly, despite their having been notified. Do "sustainability" activists in New Haven WANT accidents to occur here, so as to push their War on Cars? After all, what is some carnage, the loss of lives, if you can further your agenda? If accidents and/or fatalities occur here as the result of this sign being down, I will contact local news media to advise them that the TRAFFIC dept is putting drivers, cyclists and pedestrians at risk due to their negligence.

Normally these jerks are inside for the winter, but being that we are experiencing mild weather, they are out in full force in Beaver Hills. All hours of the day and night.
  • 357 Orchard St New Haven, Connecticut - Dwight
Tree across from 357 Orchard was removed, but a large log still remains, blocking the sidewalk. This has been here for a while, please remove.
  • Norton And Whalley New Haven, Connecticut - Edgewood
See photo. This is not enough room for the bus to pull over to the right side and allow passengers to board. So again, we are stuck walking into the road to board the bus.
  • Edgewood Park New Haven, Connecticut - Westville
This portion of the sidewalk in the Park has been like this for years. It's not getting any better, it's just getting worse. It is dangerous for pedestrians, and any cyclist could easily go over the handlebars hitting these lifts in the sidewalk.
