The neighbors maintain the pots and remove any trash that is left there. The members of the church think it is a great addition to their corner!

The pots are ugly to many neighbors in and around Lancaster. All they do is collect garbage and end up blocking the hydrants. Shouldn't be allowed in public right-away.

Someone moved this pot. It was not near the hydrant when it was placed there and filled with beautiful spring flowers. It will be filled again when the weather permits. Neighbors will maintain the pot and clear any trash, which disrespectful people have placed in the pots.

I would like to agree with bonmar7304 - the pots are a great addition to the neighborhood. They are usually in places that do not block foot traffic and a safe distance from the fire hydrants. During the Spring and Fall the pots are filled with attractive plants.

I would also agree with bonmar7304 and Brad. It seems that in the last several weeks a small group of people have made it their mission to fill social media and sites like seeclickfix with as much negative news as they can possible find about Lark Street and the surrounding communites. Lark Street is facing new competition but it is not dying. The neighborhoods desire to beautify the surrounding streets should not be viewed as negative. If only more people cared, we might be able to make tiny steps in the right direction. Thank you to the neighbors who maintain those pots and the nearby Hudson-Jay Park.
