I have witnessed many occasions where cars at the Pamlico stop sign turn left onto Lassiter Mill Road but do not see the red light at the pedestrian crosswalk immediately to the east of the intersection. This has made for some dangerous situations as pedestrians are in the crosswalk at the time.

For the Six Forks Corridor Study, can this stop light and crosswalk be moved right at Pamlico? The signal is too difficult to see and react to if a driver is not accustomed to this unusual situation.
