Please consider changing the timing of the cross walk. The instant the cross walk flips to 0, the light on chapel street is already been. I notice this walking south on state across chapel. All other crossings in the city have an offset of a few seconds.

There should be an offset of a few seconds.. I don't remember which light it was the other day, when I was crossing and the walk sign changed and traffic came at me while I was in the middle of the crosswalk.. they don't wait.. it's like a race.

The traffic signal is operating in accordance to the traffic plan; however, the Signal Division will forward the issue to the Traffic Engineer for review and possible re-timing.

Yes, there should be a few seconds to let pedestrians who are in the middle of the street when the light changes to get all the way across. Many drivers are only looking at the light, and when it changes they gun that engine. I've been hit twice this way. Luckely going slowly but still. If the car in front does notice that there's a pedestrian still in the crosswalk, the guy in back doesnt' care and honks at the guy who is waiting for the pedestrian.
